Fishing on the River Shiel
Salmon and sea trout fishing can be arranged on
a weekly basis for up to six rods through the
owners of the south bank, Shielbridge Ltd. A
self-catering cottage is available at www.rowanhill-cottage.co.uk
through which the owners of the fishing can be
contacted.
The fishing on the River Shiel is
managed in conjunction with the owners of the
north bank. By arrangement both banks are fished
on rotation by dividing the river between upper
and lower beats and changing-over at 1.00 p.m.
each day. Full details can be made available.
The season extends from early May
to end September and a catch and release policy
has been adopted.
